Class Schedule
We are a classical ballet studio, all dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class, no exceptions. Please see our CLASS DESCRIPTIONS below for age/experience requirements. We do not offer partial season enrollment, all classes run from Sept-May, with the exception of Creative. Our Creative class is offered as a 6-week session only.

Recreational Ballet Classes

All dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class to enroll in any additional disciplines.
Additional classes are open to students in Ballet Basics, Foundations, Youth Ballet and Int/Adv.
Tap Classes
Intro to Tap/Jazz* – Wed 4:15-4:30 (must be enrolled in Ballet Basics)
*class will focus specially on tap the first semester and jazz the second semester
Tap 1 – Wed, 6-6:30 (must be enrolled in F1 or YB1)
Tap 2 – Tues, 5:45-6:15 (must be enrolled in F2-3, YB2) *3 spaces remain
Tap 3 – Thur, 5:30-6:15 (must be enrolled in F3, Int or Adv) *1 space remains
Jazz Classes
Jazz 1 – Wed, 6:30-7 (must be enrolled in F1 or YB1) *3 spaces remain
Jazz 2 – Tues, 6:15-6:45 (must be enrolled in F2-3, YB2) *1 space remains
Jazz 3 – Thur, 4:45-5:30 (must be enrolled in F3, Int or Adv) *1 space remains
Classes are subject to change due to lack of enrollment, each class must have a minimum of 5 students enrolled.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Creative – OFFERED AS A 6-WEEK SESSION ONLY – This class is designed with the young, beginning dancer in mind. Class focus is on creative movement, rhythm, and basic ballet technique.
Age/Experience requirement – 3 and 4 (must be 3 by Sept 1)/no prior experience needed
Pre-Ballet Combo – This is a combo ballet/tap class. This class focuses on refining the dancers ballet technique, free movement and dance knowledge. The class introduces the dancer to basic tap technique.
Age/Experience requirement – 5 – 6 with prior experience (must be 5 by Sept 1); or 6-7 without prior experience
Ballet Basics – This class focuses on expanding the dancers ballet technique, free movement and dance knowledge. The class introduces the dancer to advanced beginner tap technique. Intro to Tap/Jazz can be taken with this class. Intro to Tap/Jazz is a non performing class giving the student a taste of basic tap and jazz dance. First semester will focus on Tap and second semester on Jazz. This is a full season class.
Age/Experience requirement – 6 – 7 with prior experience (must be 6 by Sept 1); or 8 without prior experience.
Foundations 1 – This class will refine the dancers basic ballet knowledge with a strong focus in correct body placement and carriage. Introduction to barre work. Class consists of warm up, barre, center, and reverence. Additional classes can begin at this level.
Age/Experience requirement – 8 – 9 with prior experience (must be 8 by Sept 1)/ or 9 without prior experience.
Foundations 2 – Refines the young dancers basic knowledge of ballet, placement and carriage. Begin to incorporate dance sequences into the daily regime of warm-up, barre, center, and reverence.
Age/Experience requirement – 10-12 with prior experience (must be 10 by Sept 1)/min 3 yr prior experience.
Foundations 3 – Refines the experienced young dancers understanding of ballet with an emphasis on advancing their body awareness with correct execution. We begin to delve into muscular groups and specific areas of strength for ballet training. At home practice is expected. Choreography and Technique class are required.
Age/Experience requirement – 13-14 (must be 13 by Sept 1)/min 4 yr prior experience
Youth Ballet 1 and 2 – These levels are designed for students who are serious about their ballet education. We explores the experienced young dancers knowledge and advancement of ballet as a discipline. Continuation of daily regime of warm-up, barre, center, and reverence. Advanced ability to follow dance sequences with correct body placement and execution of steps. At home practice is mandatory. Choreography and Technique class are required. Students will have benchmarks.
Age/Experience requirement –
YB1 – 8-10/min 4 yr prior experience or teacher approval.
YB2 – 10-12/min 5 yr prior experience or teacher approval.
Int/Adv – Intermediate and advanced dance technique focusing on slow adagio, basic turns and jumps. As well as refining basic ballet technique, barre work, combinations, and allegro. At home practice is mandatory. Choreography and Technique class are required.
Age/Experience requirement – This is a teacher invite only level.
Pointe Prep – Non performing class. This class is designed to give the young experienced dancer the tools needed to go “en pointe.” This class is considered an “at the dancers own pace” class…meaning, some students will take this class for 2 seasons, others could take it multiple seasons. Class focuses on ankle and foot strength. At home practice is required. Students will have benchmarks.
Age/Experience requirement – This is a teacher invite only class.
Pointe Conditioning – Non performing class. This is a concurrent class for those dancers who are also enrolled in Pointe. Focusing on ankle strength and proper pointe technique.
Pointe – For the experienced dancer who is learning and refining ballet skills, en pointe. At home practice is required.
Age/Experience requirement – This is a teacher invite only class.
Jazz classes – Consist of proper warm up, movement, progressions, and cool down. Jazz classes may also incorporate lyrical. All students must be enrolled in a core ballet class.
Tap classes – Broadway and street style tap. All students must be enrolled in a core ballet class.
INVESTMENT
To uphold the integrity and hard work of our students our season runs from Sept-May. All students are enrolled for the entire season, with the exception of students enrolled in our Creative class, we do not accept partial season enrollment. Summer classes and camps are separate. Our Creative class is offered twice yearly as a 6 week session.
All rates are per student and based on a 9 month dance season. We offer 3 convenient payment options:

Direct-Pay – 4 Installment Plan
Direct Pay is the total season tuition (direct pay rates) divided evenly between 4 installments – due at the time of registration, Sept 25, Oct 25, and Nov 25. Payments are accepted via check or cash and must be received on or before the 25th or additional late fees apply.

Sibling Discount: All immediate families with two or more students receive a 3% discount off combined per student tuition.
Miscellaneous Season Fee’s: dance attire, costumes, recital tickets, etc.
There are no partial or full refunds. We accept cash or check. Credit/Debit card accepted for Direct Pay Installment Plan with additional 3.5% processing fee.
